How it's worked out
Sales = clicks × conversion rate. Commission = sales × average order value × commission rate. Earnings per click (EPC) = commission ÷ clicks.
With 1,000 clicks, a 3% conversion rate, a $50.00 average order and a 5% commission, that's 30.0 sales and $75 in commission, or $0.075 a click.
EPC is the number to compare offers by: a 20% commission on a product that rarely sells can earn less per click than 4% on one people buy every day. Read more in how much creators earn per affiliate click.
