Milkshake's figures come from its pricing and selling pages as of October 2026. It notes that prices can vary by country and app store.
Tracking affiliate sales
Milkshake's Insights show link clicks and Card views, with daily and monthly breakdowns. Free plans keep 30 days of data and Pro keeps 365 days, with export. Milkshake also lets you sell digital files through a Sell Card, and those sales go straight to your Stripe account.
For affiliate links, Milkshake stops at the click. It has no connection to Amazon Associates, Impact, CJ, Awin or Everflow, so you can see a product link got 200 taps but not whether anyone bought.
Vyrl takes the sale data from the network. You connect a network and paste a postback URL into its server postback settings. Vyrl adds the network's sub ID parameter to every click with its own click ID (subId1 for Impact, sid for CJ, sub1 for Everflow, clickref for Awin, ascsubtag for Amazon). When a sale happens, the network reports it to Vyrl and it's credited to that click. Amazon doesn't send postbacks, so you upload the Earnings report CSV and Vyrl matches rows by Sub Tag.
Sales by video
Milkshake's Pro plan has a campaign builder that creates UTM-tagged links and shows which campaigns drive traffic in Insights. You could make one campaign link per video. That gives you clicks per video, but you'd manage every link by hand and still have no sales data.
In Vyrl, each video gets a word, like vyrl.at/yourname/storm. You say it on camera or put it in the description, and every click and sale from that visit is credited to that video. Share links add the place, such as vyrl.at/yourname/storm/tt.
An example: your page gets 1,000 taps a month on product links. Milkshake shows the taps. Vyrl shows that those taps earned $150, an EPC of $0.15, and that one video's visitors earned $0.60 per click. The earnings per click guide explains how to use that number, and you can estimate your own with the affiliate earnings calculator.
Page speed and privacy
Milkshake sites are measured automatically for page weight and trackers, and the live results are shown above this text.
Vyrl pages are plain HTML with no JavaScript, served from Cloudflare's edge cache, and typically under 50 KB. They set no cookies and load no third-party trackers. Unique visitors are counted with a daily-changing salted hash, and IP addresses are never stored.
Milkshake's swipeable Cards, images and GIFs are a big part of its appeal. Rich design tends to mean a heavier page, so it's worth checking the measurement above against what matters more to you: the look or the load time. Milkshake Pro also offers a Meta pixel and Pro+ adds Google Analytics, which help with ads but share visitor activity with those companies.
Pricing
Milkshake is free to start and charges for extras. Lite is $2.99 a month and removes Milkshake branding. Pro is $6.99 a month, or $5 a month billed yearly at $59.99, and adds contact forms, mailing lists, SEO tools, a Meta pixel, 365 days of Insights and a lower 9% selling fee. Pro+ is $8.33 a month billed yearly at $99.99, or $29.99 a quarter, and adds a custom domain, Google Analytics and a 7% selling fee. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
Vyrl's Creator plan is $4 a month or $3.20 billed yearly in the US, and cheaper in many countries, as low as $2 a month. It includes revenue per video, affiliate postbacks, a custom domain, giveaways, the AI agent, CSV export and the daily revenue email. See pricing.
If you want a custom domain, that's the clearest price gap: Milkshake puts it on its top plan, Vyrl on its only paid plan.
When Milkshake is the better choice
- You want a mini website, not a list of links. Milkshake's Cards work like swipeable pages for an about section, blog posts, podcast episodes or a portfolio.
- You build everything on your phone. Milkshake is made for building and editing in its app.
- Design matters most. Milkshake has many templates, Looks and deep font and color controls.
- You sell a few digital files. The Sell Card handles checkout through Stripe without another tool.
- You want the cheapest way to remove branding. Lite at $2.99 a month does just that.
Vyrl is the better fit when your page's job is to earn affiliate commission and you want to know which videos do the earning.
How to switch from Milkshake to Vyrl
- Create a free Vyrl page and add your links. Use clean affiliate links from each network, without the sub ID parameter. Vyrl adds its own click ID.
- Connect your affiliate networks and paste the postback URLs into their settings. Tap your own Vyrl link and send a test conversion. It shows in revenue within a minute.
- Create a share link for each place you post, such as /tt for TikTok and /yt for YouTube, and replace your msha.ke address in each bio.
- Give each new video a word and say it on camera or put it in the description. The guide to which video made the sale shows what you'll see once sales come in.
- If you sell files on Milkshake, you can keep that site and add it as a link on your Vyrl page.
From now on, share only Vyrl links. A raw network link can't be matched to a click or a video.
